For example a blog can post preaty images of 2 shoes even photoshoped, but how knows the customer wich is the best? Knowing the flaws of each one will help customer knowing wich is best and for wich worth pay the lindens and also wich designers deserves that lindens.

Of course I think that a blog like that not also have to point the weak point, also the strong points of the item, and thats a true review, not all the preaty images of 90% of bloggers...

I am sorry but all that blogs that just show preaty images are just boring and doesnt help customers in any way, they just help their own ego. But anyway they blog cos they like and everybody is free to readAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1639577993851585768.post-27752047349488991872009-10-21T12:34:55.833-07:002009-10-21T12:34:55.833-07:00I loved Linden Lifstyles for that very reason...th...I loved Linden Lifstyles for that very reason...the honesty in their reviews. It was refreshing to see a blog that didn't feel "bought off"....not hateful, just honest in a constructive way. Not up anyone's butt.

Ali, I agree. The fashion blogs are getting boring and repetitive. Beautiful, creative pics of beautiful, creative models. I would like to see constructive, informative content with the beautiful images.Jooniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17238199777376114515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1639577993851585768.post-47521166770111155662009-10-20T22:55:46.896-07:002009-10-20T22:55:46.896-07:00I liked Linden Lifestyles as well. I found some very cute stores through them, but they were much more than the "Look at this L$3000 outfit I just bought" blogs that are easily found now. I have wasted money on clothes by well-known designers that I saw blogged, only to find out that they have crap seams or other defects and it pisses me off that bloggers aren't honest about these things! If you got something that you had higher expectations for, friggin tell me!Shatteredhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13236287856529546637noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1639577993851585768.post-86446770825216100012009-10-20T14:36:40.881-07:002009-10-20T14:36:40.881-07:00Please do!Please do!Peter Stindberghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05187648076397777162noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1639577993851585768.post-57296210794696199432009-10-20T13:47:24.256-07:002009-10-20T13:47:24.256-07:00if you did say all those things, the fashion world...if you did say all those things, the fashion world(s) might hate you, but the readers and buyers would be grateful.Wolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00232553962808209828noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1639577993851585768.post-67613426852166220472009-10-20T13:31:03.552-07:002009-10-20T13:31:03.552-07:00I loved Linden Lifestyles for this very reason. Lots of fashion blogs these days just aren't 'review' blogs, but 'let me show you something cool' blogs. Which is great, trust me I love the inspiration they give me. But many times I buy the item and realize after the purchase that it only looks good for pictures. Linden Lifestyles would have called that out.Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00232799103252446150noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1639577993851585768.post-39162775765969034232009-10-20T13:18:25.789-07:002009-10-20T13:18:25.789-07:00I don't see how being honest is a backhanded c...I don't see how being honest is a backhanded compliment.Melaniehttp://gridexpectations.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1639577993851585768.post-48857922703272520142009-10-20T12:32:07.005-07:002009-10-20T12:32:07.005-07:00... I've seen blog posts that mentioned flaws (one said the outfit was otherwise great except for a texture issue at the seams and another criticized the designer's choice to use full bright on a prim) and I was taken aback. To me, it's like a backhanded compliment, as in "You'd be so much prettier if (you lost a little weight/you wore less makeup/you dressed nicer/whatever)" Either way, the message is that something is wrong with you.

I'd rather that be dealt with privately via note card or IM (oh hey, I noticed ___.) Why broadcast in public that you found a flaw? To me, the negatives pointed out overshadow the positives, and I don't see any benefit in mentioning them.

Alicia, parts of your post kinda sound like the comment I left on SCD. I have noticed that there is a lot of the same lately. I think blogging what you like is great, and it's what I do (when I can get SL to cooperate with me.) I personally wouldn't feel right blogging something low-quality or IMO just plain ugly. If I won't wear it, I won't blog it. I'm not going to send my friends to stores I don't/won't shop in myself. So yes, by all means, keep on blogging what you like. The designers will appreciate your honest words :)Isabeau Reinardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06382681696179887292noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1639577993851585768.post-77353568621818428272009-10-20T11:42:18.280-07:002009-10-20T11:42:18.280-07:00I actually would read it. When I read Linden Lifestyles (not everyone liked them, whatever, I read them) they would sometimes mention seams that needed cleaning up or something- for the sake of informational. I would enjoy it, and if I sent my clothing/jewelry to a blogger and they saw a flaw, I'd like to know. Course, I'd hate you forever and ever and talk smack about ya then (Kidding lol).Kesseret Steeplechasehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03804223415503125099noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1639577993851585768.post-58905091159595850322009-10-20T11:23:04.080-07:002009-10-20T11:23:04.080-07:00You are a very naughty girl. Why would ANYBODY want to, have a blog of just ugly stuff to critize.. LOL the reason most of us blog is to share pretty items. I would consider it more of a "job" if I had to blog & wear ugly items, just so I can point out all the flaws and such. If a designer wanted that SERVICE, pay meeeeee.. I'm avail for consulting :) I will tell you exactly why your item doesn't sell. :DGogohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17471718014307408283noreply@blogger.com
