Stalling

Tonight was our Pirates & Wenches contest, and I had to step in and DJ it at the last moment, as usual. :-p But I wasn't too mad this time. I didn't realize it before, but my friend, the one who just broke up with her partner, was supposed to be my DJ for this event. Knowing how she feels about coming to the club right now, stepping in wasn't an issue. BUT we got hit with a region restart during it. I swear, those only happen during my events. I have a curse!! It was still a good set. I even got to meet the lovely Calaya, even though I didn't get to talk to her much since I was busy pulling up songs, dealing with IMs, and trying to finish up a phone conversation.

Anyway, during the few minutes that we were hiding from the restart, I hopped home and I couldn't help but snap a few pics of myself because I looked way different than I do normally.



I did a double Orton on the photo using the Gaussian blur at 4 each time, and then erased on my eyes so they weren't blurry. I think it came out nice, although the skin I'm wearing isn't actually that pale. I also fixed the corners of my lips, since the skin tends to make them a little pointier in the corners than I like. Aside from doing textures for projects, I haven't had time to really play with Photoshop to make my pictures pretty lately, so this was fun. :)

I'm going to have to go RL shopping this weekend, which I dread. Yes yes, the shopping queen in SL isn't much of a shopper in RL. It's just not as fun in RL when people don't just give you things for free and pants have to be tried on because they don't just automatically fit and make your butt look cute.

My tequila belt is going to be ready to go by Monday, I think. Probably sooner. I need to get a male opinion on the front of the belt. It looks a little too feminine to me.

I planned on cleaning the kitchen and bathroom tonight before bed. Can you tell I'm stalling? :) One of these days, I'm going to get back on a semi-normal schedule!
