Who made you the MM Police?!

I love Midnight Mania boards. There's something so awesome to me about just walking in somewhere, touching a board, and waiting for a gift at midnight. No hunting, no joining groups [usually], just touch a board and leave.

But, there is fun to be had at MM boards. You can stick around and see when it goes into lockdown, talk to people, and just chill. Unfortunately, for a GOOD MM board, or a prize that people really really want, the scene sometimes just looks like this as it gets closer to midnight.

Maaaadness!

I'll say this right now... Fug loves a MM board. LOL! Seriously, go hang out at one sometime. It gets bad! Tyson and I like to sit on top of this one and cheer when people get on the board. We REALLY wanted these dinosaurs!!! Instead, mostly we saw stuff like this.

MM Fug

If you look at the ears of the girl who wouldn't rez in the pink thing, they were blinging for all they were worth. For some reason, bling always shows up even when their faces do not.

The funniest/most irritating part of the MM boards are the self-appointed MM Police. The ones who stand around screaming for people to leave once they've hit the board to try to lessen lag, even though they themselves are still there. Or the ones who try to control the situation by telling people who can hit the board when. And then there's the ones who tell everyone who hits it, regardless of where the person is standing, that they're now on the board. One girl was very much doing this last night. Now please notice the time stamp of one of her first comments.

[2009/09/25 23:29] Dixiecupp Denimore: I guess all of us who already hit it should probably leave.... to let the sim stabilize for other people to hit the board!!!!

Did she leave? Nope. She kept telling people every time they hit the board.
Dixiecupp got miffed because we did not appreciate her policing the MM board and the sim in general. Poor baby.

Anyway, help me get that brontosaurus, please, by going to slap the board at Neon Frog. I don't care if you don't need a dinosaur right NOW, you might need it later!! :)

It's not a gym day, but it is treadmill time! :)

Got my hands up, they're playin' my song!

So much going on lately. :) Good things, though. I am just so happy all the time recently! I have my moments of bitchy, but what female doesn't? LOL But in general...I'm just really happy. It's not uncommon for when people ask me how I'm doing for me to just reply "I'm awesome!" Because...I am. :) I just really hope it continues. As my close friends know, fall is a very hard time for me and I tend to be really really down and out of sorts in November especially. Maybe this year I can break the cycle. I'll explain more when November comes along. :)

Party news!! If you didn't hear about the SL Blogger Meet-Up this Sunday - well, go to that link and find out about it! :) I'll be DJing the party [I was SO excited to be asked again!] and it will take place at ArminasX Saiman's store, Electric Pixels, at the secretly located Particle Lounge. [Um, I guess it's not a secret since we're giving out SLurls...but pretend, ok?!] The theme is Outer Space, and I sooooo badly need a costume!! I'm demanding that Tyson and I have matching outfits, or at least ones that mesh well, so I think we're going to have to have a shopping trip tonight or tomorrow. Tymmerie made some space helmets so if nothing else, we have that! :)

He thinks I'm hot. No, REALLY!!

I asked him if I was hot. He said yes. That's all I needed to know.

Oh, so, I didn't end up going out of town like I'd planned this past week. With the rain and yucky weather that's been going on, it was just in our best interest not to go until possibly next month. That gives me extra time to continue dieting & exercising so my well-meaning aunts don't ask about my ankles again. My RL best friend of 14 years recently renewed her gym membership and as part of her package, she got guest privileges for 6 months. So until March [or until I decide I'm tired of waiting on her and get my own membership], I'm at the gym at least 3 times a week. It has been a struggle. Like many of you, my life is fairly sedentary. Walking leisurely around the grocery store or a little faster than a snail's pace on our treadmill 1-2 times a week was not doing it for me. Getting on that elliptical machine for 30 minutes the first time was so hard. I couldn't make it through the cool down!! Cool down, hell. I barely made it UP the steps to the machines at all. And it is SO embarrassing to say that because I used to be so active. I used to run, I used to dance, I did kickboxing and lifted weights. I've never been THIN, but I was FIT, and there is a difference. I wish I could blame SL for the lack of activity, but that's not it at all. It's me. I've been down, and I've been lazy. But just this past week. Just these 4 workouts at the gym and one at home that I've done [holy shit, since Saturday I've worked out 5 times!], it's done an INCREDIBLE difference on me. With every extra step I take, with every extra minute I keep in motion, I feel much much more like myself and so much less like the depressed little fat girl that I've become over the past 5 years. And the best part is that I take that into my SLife and hopefully the joy I feel right now, I can rub off onto others, because I am so blessed to have the friends I have in Second Life, and I want them to be nothing but happy.

Ok, too much writing. LOL I'm sorry for the blurb there. :)

It's time for a shower and to settle in for the evening!

Troublesome Templates

One of the many reasons that I love Plurk is that when we're not being crazy and silly, some really interesting discussions can pop up. Yesterday, the very adorable SySy brought up something that actually has bothered me in the past.

Templates.

Templates on XStreet

Now, let me just start out by saying that it's not illegal to buy templates to do your work. It's not illegal to sell what you've made using the purchased templates. That's what they're there for - to help you as you begin designing.

HOWEVER... I think there has to be some better modding of templates. You absolutely CANNOT just recolor them and sell them as-is and call yourself a designer. You're not a designer. You're just coloring. Mod the hell out of the templates! Add your own buttons and hems and designs. Make prim or sculpted cuffs and ruffles. Put some real thought and time into it. Make it your own.

But unfortunately, all over the place, we see just recolors. C'mon, how many of you ladies were taken in by these boots?

Template Boots Everyone Owns

The first time you saw them, you probably thought, "Wow, I could use those!" Then you saw them at someone else's store and maybe thought, "Did they rip off the original designer?!" And then they popped up EVERYWHERE. Nope. Just template boots. Completely legal to sell them, just disappointing when you find out that your boots are not very original.

And that's the big thing with templates. If you don't sit there and modify them to death, that store that just opened next to yours could have your exact same jeans - just cheaper.

Templates are a good jumping off point for people, I think. You learn about layers and sizes and what looks good where. But let them be that - a learning tool. Don't let it be your entire store! There are people in SL who put in HOURS and HOURS of work designing clothing by hand. It may not be the best clothing in SL, but it's theirs! They can look at it with pride and say, "I made that." And if someone does come along and rips it, they have the work to back it up and prove that it's been ripped off. If you're just recoloring a template, even if you do add a button or a cuff, can you really claim it's been stolen? After all, for $2500L, someone else could have bought your same template. The only way you would have a leg to stand on is if you had completely modified that template to the point of not really being able to tell that that's where it came from. Anytime a new skin comes out, people immediately look for the telltale signs that it's an Eloh Eliot skin. But I have seen mods that do not resemble her original templates at ALL. You'd never know. And that's the way it should be, in my opinion.

I won't say that I'll stop shopping at stores that use templates. But I will say I'll be less likely to blog them, or show them off to my friends, or maybe return to the store a second time. I wish some of these template makers would just open up their own stores in SL because some of them truly do amazing work. But maybe it's more lucrative for them to just sell off what they've done for others to use? I don't know.

That's my opinion for the day. There's punch and cookies on the table in the back.

Aisuru's Birthday!

About a week or so ago, Emerald jumped in my IM box and asked me if I knew that it was Aisuru's birthday on Saturday. Well, I had a paper at one point with everyone's birthdays on them [at least, those who would say] but of course I lost it because my desk looks like it belongs on the set of Sanford & Son 2.0. [Not a real show, btw, but how awesome would that be? It would have to have the original theme song, though. But maybe updated. No. Definitely original. Wait, what I was talking about? Oh yes.]

So instead of just saying "Oh, we'll throw her a party," we decided that the party should be a surprise party! Fun!! We set about thinking of a theme and passing out invites and stalking her plurk friends list to see who else to invite. Emerald did pretty much all the decorating and taking care of things since Saturdays are so RL busy for me usually, so huge props to Em for that. :)

We had the party last night at 7. I had told Aisu we were going to have a new photo taken, but I didn't want to tell everyone about it because I didn't want our Euro friends to feel bad that they couldn't be in it. LOL! Awesome, huh? Then yesterday I told her we were running late and Skyhawke wasn't doing our photo this time, so I'd tp everyone to the photo place when we were ready to go. Everyone gathered around 7, and then ... SURPRISE!!

Birthday Girl!

Happy birthday Aisuru!

Twister!

What's better than Twister on your birthday? LOL! If you want to see more pictures, I set up a Snapzilla album with the few I managed to get last night. :)

I hope you had a great birthday, Aisu! You totally deserve it because you are totally fabulous. :)

So happy :)

I haven't been doing very well on my blogging every day thing, huh? LOL! But I have been trying! I've just been busily hanging out with my new guy and I've just been having a lot of fun. :)

After all, who else would let me build a very preppy colored house around them while they cook dinner?

Aww :)

Or make prehistoric porn before my very eyes??

Oh dinos!

Even though I love my house and will keep it up, we're moving into another fabulous house that I picked up from Xstreet a few weeks ago. :)

[It's been gray in my RL lately, so I made the sky match in SL.]

Skybox

I love this house and have SO wanted to use it, but I didn't really have a use for it, and any skyboxes I have, I usually stick to the lower prim one room kind to decorate. But now we can use this because it's home. :) Well...home with no furniture. LOL

In the skybox

How we'll decorate, I have no idea.

I guess I should get back up on the posestand. I've got blog pics to take. As much as I love my new wacom, it's a lot slower for me to use it rather than use the mouse. But the effect is better on my face, so I guess I should just suck it up and learn how to use it more efficiently. One day! :)

Love Thursday

I love beginnings. :)

A whole year & a look at the Swamp Hotel

Just FYI, the yard sale is over. Everyone's things have been picked up or sent back, so if you show up and you find yourself in an empty beach...well, there ya go. LOL

What a difference a year makes. I remembered [late] that Sunday was the one year anniversary of me getting my island. A year ago everything was so chaotic. My partnership was over, I couldn't help my close friend other than being an ear...I was a mess. I was incredibly sad and upset for so long. I didn't know what would happen next. I was pretty much suddenly alone, with this new island, and renters that I didn't know at all. I had no idea what I was doing - none!

But throughout the year, I really started to find myself and my place within SL. I stuck by someone for as long as a person possibly could [a little over 6 months] despite being really alone almost constantly. I've made friends, I've lost friends. I found comfort and love in the arms of someone who had been there all along, and when that relationship ended, I was stronger. I've learned expensive lessons along the way, but through it all, I think I've become a better person for it. It's funny how much changes in a year. :)

Now I find myself starting something new. To start it, I had to hurt someone that I honestly do care about a great deal. I'm hoping the hurt is minimal, since I'm not really worth more than a sugar pig-out [LOL!] but more than that, I hope that we remain friends.

It's been a hell of a year. I'll say that much. :)

___________________

So Tyson and I went out tonight to explore the Swamp Hotel, a place I found in the SL showcase or whatever they call it. It's advertised as this mystery place and you have to figure out what happened to some people who disappeared. Well, I enjoy a good mystery, so we tucked ourselves into voice so we could explore more easily, put our thinking caps on, and teleported over.

Unfortunately, the Swamp Hotel is not exactly self-explanatory. In fact, we didn't see any signs at the landing point telling us what to do. So we took a turn, went down a pipe and...

[20:47] Swamp Hotel whispers: Congratulations. You have escaped from danger, and survived to tell the tale. The world will know what became of the lost souls of the Swamp Hotel

Uh. What?

We laughed SO hard! It took us longer to rez than it did to mistakenly "win" the mystery! What the hell is THAT about?!

But on the plus side, we got to smack some zombies with a wooden board.

Zombies!

I didn't just stand around letting him hit the whole time, I got to kill some zombies, too. :-p

We explored around the sims a little more and sat for a long time on a horse just talking about so much stuff and laughing about the dumbest things. The Orange Island sims - very nice. The Swamp Hotel - very lame. LOL

I'm exhausted, so it's bedtime. :)

What a weekend!

No posts this weekend, but I was really busy! The yard sale was AWESOME. We had SO SO SO much fun and I think everyone made at least a little extra cash. :) I know we managed to clean our inventories at least a little! People will begin picking up their items today [Monday] but if you want to stop by before late Monday night to see what's left, please feel free. All items not picked up by Monday night around 10 or 11pm SLT will be returned. I'm going to try to return things one by one just so you guys don't have a big blob in your lost & found so it's easier for you to pack away for the next sale or delete it. :) Thank you all so much for such an INCREDIBLE turn out. I never expected it would be so huge!! And yes, we will most definitely do this again, maybe in November after the Halloween sales & hunts, but before the Christmas/Winter hunts?

I'm off to bed, but I wanted to share a few shots from the sale. :)

Thank you again to everyone who came out to sell, and big thanks to everyone who came out to buy! It was a most amazing weekend, but I won't be sorry to have the island get back to our normal [well, normal for us] routine. :) Goodnight!

Friday, September 11, 2009

I like that! And that...and that....

It's been a daydream of mine that I become so incredibly famous that designers close sims for me to shop on alone, or simply bring their items to my doorstep. Hey, I said it was a daydream!

As I've mentioned before, a bunch of my friends and I are having a Yard Sale this weekend on my island. We started setting up last night and this is as close to my daydream as I could have ever wanted, because there is SO MUCH STUFF already!!

Yard Sale

I spent time last night hanging out on one of the couches with a couple of friends and looking at all the stuff. And then I bought the couch. LOL! I couldn't help it. I liked it and it was cheap and it will go in one of my skyboxes!!

Of course, when I logged in today, I noticed new stuff. Including this Sad Bunny chair that SySy put down. I knew the bunny had to be mine.

Sad Bunny

I'm telling you guys, this yard sale is AWESOME. Soooo much stuff. Even clothes and accessories! You absolutely MUST come to it. We officially open tomorrow at 8am, but if you happen to stop by early, well, I can't stop you. ;) But just know that people are still setting up today, so there will be more stuff tomorrow. [And if you want to come sell some things, just IM me and let me know!]

As for me, I'm trying hard to keep myself up in my skybox. Otherwise I'm going to be doing way more shopping!!

Love Thursday

Today's Love Thursday is something from my physical world.

My parents. :)

This is my mom and daddy in 1963 on the day they eloped. I guess you could say my sister is in the picture too, if you know what I mean. My mom said that my dad had come home on his lunch break, picked her up, they went to city hall to get married and then to lunch. Afterwards he went back to work and she went back to doing the laundry. That's how my parents roll. They are simple and efficient.

Because both of them grew up poor, they worked hard their whole lives to make sure that their three daughters had everything they ever wanted. Especially me, because I was the one they wanted and never thought they could have. I cannot remember a time in my life where I have gone without, unless it was just a time I didn't speak up. That is why when they asked that I not work so I could be on hand for anything they needed since my mother is just about disabled now [she's still mobile, but it has to be on a good day], the decision was easy. Most people my age probably wouldn't put their lives and careers on hold for their parents, but most people probably didn't have the kind of parents I do. I am the only one they have to count on, and I take that very seriously.

Together they've raised 3 girls, lost one, don't know where the other one is, and have gone through just about every terrible thing in the world. Although they've both threatened to leave a time or two [or more, in my mom's case, because she gets crazier as she gets older], they never do. She still fixes his dinner plate every night, and he still mows the lawn every weekend. For better or for worse, they will be together until the day they die.

Today is my mom's 65th birthday. She's been with my dad altogether just about 50 years. Their lives are an amazing love story, although they probably wouldn't think of it that way. If I asked my mom, she'd probably just say, "Eh. What else was I going to do?"

So that's my Love Thursday for this week. I love my parents more than anyone else in the whole world. Happy Birthday, Mom!

Little updates

I've been working tonight on setting up the area for the yard sale this weekend. Don't know what I'm talking about? Read this post. I'm excited for it! I know I will probably end up doing more buying than selling. LOL!

But this is how it looks so far. Not at ALL finished.

Setting Up

Don't worry, the Fiesta Zone is not gone. It's just waaaay up in the air for now. And the ice cream place is off to the side.

Tomorrow night is a BACK TO SCHOOL party at 8pm SLT. :) The Thorne-Darwins are being kind enough to host us, so we'll be at the Ghambt Community Center gymnasium. :-D

I need to get back to work. :)

This is an ex-chicken!

I heard something today on Plurk that kinda made me laugh regarding the TOS for the Sion chickens. Apparently if you get rid of your chickens or kill them or something, you're supposed to tell Sion about it.

Uh. Whoops.

So therefore, I am addressing this letter to Mr. Sion Zaius.

Dear Sion,

It's totally dead.

Dead.

Fall Cleaning! Or Buying!

Are you drowning in inventory? Are you in need of some extra money? Then keep reading!

My friend Ulaa Coronet came up with the idea, and we are holding a big Yard Sale on my island this coming weekend! Box up that transferable stuff, slap a price on it, and come sell it! And if you have nothing to sell, then just come and buy things! Believe me, there are going to be some NICE clothes, accessories and furniture out there!

The sale will run from Saturday, September 12th at 8:00am SLT to Sunday evening around 9pm SLT.

If you are interested in participating, please contact me by this Thursday. I'll have the selling area set up Thursday evening and those participating can come bring their items to set up starting on Friday.

[Keep in mind that my island is a residential community, so I ask that you not bring anything that's too laggy unless it's boxed up.]

Woot! I love love yard sales!

Are you ready for some football?!

I just wrote the bitchiest blog post of my blogging life. And uh, no, you can't see it. Let's just say, I'm glad I wrote it before I plurked it, because holy cow. And no, it wasn't about anyone specific, just a group as a whole. Not my group, of course, because they're fabulous. :) But wow. I didn't realize I was in such a bad mood today.

So... let's get to some pictures!

The cheery Tymmerie asked earlier if anyone would be interested in posing with her in college cheer uniforms for a picture. I do love college football, and I love cheerleader uniforms, AND I love pictures, so you know I was in!

Where I'm from, football season is a great big deal. To me, it's the ONLY sports season. I'm not talking soccer. I'm talking American Football. Big men in pads and helmets crashing into each other and slapping each other on the ass. I'm also a huge fan of college football because it's not as money oriented as the NFL, although I do realize a great many football guys play for scholarships. I always root for my team, the Texas Longhorns. [This is bad because I live with an Aggie!] So I was really excited to go out and find a good Longhorns cheer uniform.

Turns out? Not so easy.

Tymmerie and I hopped all over the grid looking for decent uniforms for our chosen teams, but never really did find any. She found one place that had college cheer uniforms, including mine, but it was just so badly made, I couldn't shell out the bucks for it. Since she couldn't find her team, she went with just the colors. I was going to do that as well. I guess it's hard to find college teams because of the logo thing? But there are a LOT - A LOT - of NFL logos out there. I'm just sayin'.

But by the time we got ready for the picture, it had gone down to cheer uniforms for whatever team you like. This was good for me because I never miss a chance to get on the blue & white for my chosen NFL team, the Dallas Cowboys. [Shut up, you can suck it.] We were joined by Rylan, Ari, Magen, and Amanda and headed over to a pretty nice football field.

However, this football field was infested by little boy "gangstas." We're guessing the approximate age of these kids was about 15 years old.

Where I come from, when you take the field, you should try to prove that you're a winner, not go out there and show off how much of a loser you are.

Losers

It was pretty bad. And of course with SL issues, we had to stick around for a while so everyone could get dressed and rez and since we couldn't drop anything [don't ask me how they got that car down], we had to try to position ourselves. I was 10 kinds of distracted with all the fug and mess!!

Ugh.

Why the flame?

Uh, no.

Move it.

But, eventually we were able to get it all together and came up with a cute group shot. :)

Cheerleaders!

I don't know if there's ever been such diverse group cheerleader shot ever...but hey, we like to step outside the box once in a while.

YAY FOOTBALL!!

On The Lotus Quest

Hi, this Alicia Chenaux and today we're on location at The Midnight Lotus, home of the Lotus Cock, in an attempt to find out what DID happen to it.

On Location

[If you don't understand what I'm talking about, go read this post and then come back.]

After Google Analytics showed me that someone found my blog by looking for "lotus cock""what happened", I really started to wonder what DID happen to it. Since no one appeared to want to help me, I came out to The Midnight Lotus to see if I could find answers.

Unfortunately, we're not one of those dirty cable shows, so I can't exactly show you the cock, so please be enthralled by my drawing and bad handwriting.

Meeeep!

First of all, you have to shell some money out for one of these...ahem...bad boys. This is the Gold Edition. There is a cheaper Silver edition for $200L less, but what if your girl du jour has to choose between your Silver and another guy's Gold? There are a lot of golddiggers in SL. That's all I'll say.

As you can see, the Lotus Cock is easily hidden and is low lag. Well, that is a relief! There's nothing worse than finishing and your genitalia finishes 45 seconds afterwards.

If you are interested, there also appear to be upgrades for your cock.

Upgrades

You know, just in case someone looks at your Silver and asks, "What happened?"

After looking around, I still couldn't figure out what happened to the Lotus. It was getting closer to Maintenance time, and I sure didn't want to get stuck out there, so I figured I'd have to try a new approach another day.

Besides...this guy didn't look like he'd be too helpful. I was pretty sure he was just going to tell me to get off his lawn.

The old man

This is Alicia Chenaux, from the Quest To Find Out What Happened To The Lotus Cock, signing off for now! Thank you and goodnight!

Hey, Big Booty Judy!

So my mom called me yesterday and she said to start making plans. Why? Because we're going to go visit family in a couple of weeks.

EEEEEK!!!!

The last time we went down to visit with my meddling, but well meaning, aunts was last August when my mom's cousin died. For about 2 months afterwards, they kept asking my mom if I was ok because my ankles looked swollen at the funeral and because I'd had to go sit down at the cemetery. Well, if my ankles were swollen, it was because of the 6 hour drive and not drinking enough water. And there are reasons why I almost fainted at the cemetery that I won't get into. But I know the bigger reason why they were asking is because I hadn't seen them in years and have put on quite a bit of weight in the past couple of years and it was their nice way of asking my mom "Hey, why's her ass so big?"

They're meddling, but they're not mean.

So this means I have 2 weeks to try to drop a little weight because when I got on the scale today...

MEEPS!

Yeah, imagine that face with me screaming and jumping off the scale in horror.

So for the next two weeks, I'm going to have to exercise every day like I'm on The Biggest Loser and cut out all the naughty food that I love so much. Like cupcakes.

No cupcakes :(

This is going to put me in a bad mood. I've already been dieting and exercising for the past couple of weeks but not in the "YEAH! I'm gonna change my life!!!!" way. It's more of a "Well, ok, I guess I can walk for 30 minutes or so..." But I'll be damned if I'm going to show up with fat ankles again. So it looks like for the next 2 weeks...it's all lean protein and veggies and healthy food for me.

Aw damn, veggies.

I am actually looking forward to the trip, though. I'll get to go swimming, do lots of shopping, and eat the most amazing Mexican food ever from people who really know how to cook it. [Yes, I understand I'm dieting to go eat food. Shut up.] I'm hoping to take our crappy laptop with me so I can plurk a bit and see about getting into SL once in a while to clear notices and chat. But mostly I'm looking forward to just relaxing and clearing my mind some. Most of my close friends know that the fall is usually hard for me, so this may be what I need to keep things from getting too bad this year. Let's hope!

Love Thursday

Love Thursday 9/3/09

I touched on it briefly in my last post, but I thought I'd elaborate more for a Love Thursday post, since I seem to keep having issues doing one. With as many times as I say "I love it" during the course of a day, you'd think I'd always have something! :)

So what do I love?

Butterflies!!

I love butterflies!

Butterflies intrigue me. They're beautiful, light, free. They flutter wherever they wish. They spend their days dancing in the sunshine and smelling the flowers.

But they weren't always like that. They start out as crappy little caterpillars. These weird wormy things with legs. The kind of thing where when you see it, you almost want to just squash it because omg, ew.

Do you really want that landing on your leg? Me either.

But out of that creepy crawly thing comes a soaring beautiful butterfly. It's kind of like a lot of people I know, actually. They keep themselves wrapped up in a cocoon and eventually they shine like a butterfly.

I also like butterfly kisses and butterflies in my tummy from someone special, but that's totally different. :)

So that's my Love Thursday of the week. Butterflies.

Oh....go buy it.

I'm a little sad. No Lotus pics ever graced my inventory. How will I ever find out what happened to it?!

Anyway, I was going to show this off in my style blog, but honestly? I'm really really lethargic today. So, I'll show it here because I really like it.

Castle from Luna's Boutique

This is my new castle from Luna's Boutique. I love it. Luna's is having a sale right now where everything is $176L. Maybe it's an all the time sale. I don't know. But what I do know is that this castle rocks. It comes furnished too. Not a lot of furnishing, but it's still nice inside, if a little dark.

Inside the castle

There's even a secret dungeon. It's really cool. The bedroom is nice too. With the furnishing, it's like...225 prims. Something like that. I'm not in world so I couldn't tell you. But it's a little over 200 prims. Go buy it and find out for yourself.

I have a real love of butterflies. No, it hasn't replaced my love of bears, but I do love love butterflies. So when the awesome Aisuru mentioned some new butterflies on plurk and then asked if I wanted a tp to go see them, I took the teleport right away.

Butterflies

Since I'm not in world at the moment, I couldn't tell you the name of the store or the creator, but just use this SLurl and you'll find them. They're in a mall, so it might be laggy. But they are AWESOME. They flutter around so so pretty and it's only one prim!! I'm using 3 prims for all the butterflies in that picture. Oh, and they're only $10L and mod/copy. So go buy them.

My friend Grant gave me blog topics earlier today, so I'll actually have some better posts in the future. Hopefully. :)

You found me by looking for THAT?

So I've decided I'm going to try - TRY - to do a post a day every day in September. Not that I think I have much to say, but hey, you never know. :)

After Emerald's look at her Google Analytics yesterday, I thought I better look at mine. I don't very often these days. But my readership is down 3%!! How can this be?! LOL! Well, ok, I know why. I don't post much lately AND people don't read as much during the summer because they're not always home with the computer. So I really need to think of how to get my 3% back up. What would do it? Ooba-Dramah? Naked photos? [Not of me, but of other people probably.] I just don't know. I figured if I see what people are hunting for, maybe if I write about those subjects, I'll gain back my 3%.

1. alicia chenaux blog

Well, that's easy enough. Hi, I'm Alicia Chenaux, and this is my blog.

2. freenis

Oh, I don't like Freenis, except when used for comedic purposes. If you have a freenis, please do not expect to get SLex from a girl who looks better than this.

3. "lotus cock""what happened"

Um...ok. Ok, the Lotus Cock in SL is pretty fine looking. It is much better than Freenis. What happened to it, I couldn't tell you. After all, I don't know what the problem is. So maybe if you show me your Lotus, I can tell you what happened.

[I'm about to get a lot of cock pictures, huh? Nevermind.]

4. 39 weeks cant sleep

I'm pretty sure you'd be dead by now. In May 2007 a British man named Tony Wright stayed awake for 266 hours, just a little more than 11 days. If you can't sleep by the 3rd week... see a doctor, not me. Unless you're reading my blog to get bored to sleep. Hey, I'm better than Ambien!

5. freenis and sex

Honey, no.

6. nipple cutting girl

What the... No, ok? Don't cut your nipples! That's bad!

7. sioncorn cheat sheets

I do not raise Sion Corn. I do not raise Sion Chickens any longer. If there was a cheat sheet to raising corn, I would give it to my friends who have corn, but I wouldn't post it on my blog because I'm pretty sure Sion Zaius would use some of his chicken money, hire a hitman, and take me out. It's just not worth it.

8. www.bootyshot.net

Why would you search for that when you HAVE the URL? I just don't understand the world today....

There were loads more, mostly looking for sleep and ass. I don't really intend on talking about butts any more than I already do, so I guess if I get my 3% readership back, they will just have to be happy with reading about random stuff that isn't always butt related.

However, I may have to look more into what happened to the Lotus Cock. Because, you know, that sounds interesting.
