Wednesdays used to mean one thing to me - Hump Day Party! And we will absolutely start doing those again, but probably not until after the holidays. It's not that I'm exceptionally busy, but I have been taking on a few more events here and there, and I kinda hate making my friends listen to me more than necessary. ;)
Speaking of events, and one that I'm NOT DJing at, the SL Bloggers meet-up is on the 13th!!! Winter Festival is the theme [we'll be outside in the snow!] and I'm getting more and more excited about it as the time gets closer. At the past meet-ups, we have had trivia for prizes, so if you're a creator and would like to donate something for us to give as prizes, just IM me. :) I really hope everyone comes, not just the "bloggers." We're all connected - we write blogs, we read blogs, we have our stuff blogged, and we even micro-blog on Plurk or Twitter. It's always fun when we can all get together. :)
Today was a pretty good day. I got into my first content theft fight. :-p It wasn't really a FIGHT, but it was pretty funny. There's a "creator" of dances that I've seen on the front page of the XStreet marketplace. A few days ago I actually went out to the shop to check out the dances, since I am always eager for new dances. Imagine my surprise when they were poor quality, pieced together danced of OLD SL dances, namely Abranimations. I know my dances. And you guys know I don't generally run around screaming "ZOMG THEFT! STOLEN!" But I got a bee in my bonnet today because seeing one of the dances as the #1 selling item on XStreet really got me. So I left a note in the Item Discussion saying what I thought. Immediately the "Creator" of the dances IMed me to ask why I was trying to ruin his business. LOL We had a discussion and he kept insisting that his dances were totally legal because he had the bvh files and he did all the legwork on putting things together. So I politely let him know that if he BOUGHT those files, he got ripped off. The conversation went nowhere fast because he just kept insisting that because he bought the animations, it was ok to sell them, and that Abranimations probably bought them too. Yeah. Ok.
So guess who is going to be on Fabulous Fashion on the 14th? ME! Well, ok, it's actually SySy. :) But she needs a model for the show, and I get to do it!!! I just get to stand and pose, but that's fine with me. I'm so so excited for her to be on the show and so happy I get to be her model!!!!
But hey, my life isn't all fashion and blogging and fighting. Shiryu asked me if I wanted to come out for a drive with him tonight since he bought a well deserved treat for himself, a car he had his eye on for a while. It's been a long time since anyone has offered to drive me around, so I hopped out to this really really curvy winding track he knew. But the funniest thing...when I went to get IN the car, instead I found myself lying ON the car!! I couldn't stop laughing, and of course I had to take a picture.
But the car is pretty cool and looks better than it does in this picture, since it hadn't quite rezzed all the way for me. And he's a very good driver. Took the turns like a champ and I only had to bail out for my life once. LOL! Ok, I'm kidding, although I did go flying from the car once when I hit the wrong button.
I am so exhausted now, but all in all...it was a pretty cool day. :)

Oh look, they're all color matchy! Did you dress to match the driver or the car?
See, HE was supposed to be the one posing on the bonnet of the car... it's not fair that it's always skimpily dressed ladies doing that. We live in an age of equal rights... I demand to have skimpily dressed (buff) men! :P

LOL! Omg. I didn't even notice we matched. I swear that was NOT on purpose!!
And yes, Q! Next time HE gets on top of the car! LMAO!!!
I am so excited about the SL Blogger Meet-up party, too! ZOMG! I have to think of trivia questions! :-P
I will try to catch your SL TV debut!
LMAO @ that pic, Ali. :D :D :D
