Before you read my Love Thursday post, you have to go read Sophia's because she made me cry.
I KNOW RIGHT? <3
My Love Thursday love is random snapshots. My friends know that whenever we're out somewhere, there's probably a good chance I caught a picture of whatever we just did. It's part of what makes me pretty good at what I do on WTFug, because I'm quick at snapping the photo before they run off. But I do take a LOT of pictures in SL.
Unfortunately, I take SO many, I have about 20 folders named "Resize" and at any given time I have almost a 100 pictures on my desktop. I'd guess 90% of them never get seen. A lot of them get deleted, some just get tucked away in my SL folder, and then the rest go up on the blog or just hang out in Flickr.
Here are a few that I don't *think* have ever made it to the blog.
Sehra, Nikki and me at Perv Point, which is no longer in existence.
Bone getting in touch with his ...uh...feminine side.
Me, chillin' at Lelutka with the Harlow-Sodwinds.
Oh, just sitting on flan, looking at the cutie Uni-Aisuru.
Booty poppin' on Nikki. She loves it!
For some reason, the center prim of this hair was in my mouth. Like a hairsquare, not a hairball.
Nikki & Sehra came to save me from this crazy guy that was at the lucky chair I was stalking. He eventually left. I think he was scared.
And taken just today, my most prized random snapshot. New World Notes journalist Hamlet Au bows down to me. That's right. You bow! LOL! Of course, then I gave him swine flu. That's how I roll.

Beach party & chillin'
I'm supposed to be in bed but I can't seem to sleep, so I thought I'd share some pics.
The Hump Day party was so so much fun. Great friends always make any party a success. Some of our new island residents also managed to come for their first hump day party, so that was nice to have them there.
A shot of the group at some point.
Yes, the ring shows up almost every time.
Bone didn't want to get sunburned or something. LOL
QueenKellee is always way cute...
...even when she faceplants.
We were ready in case we fell into the ocean!
After everyone took off, Nikki and I headed over to Sacred where she was going to have her first solo professional picture done. [Almost all of the Ch'Know girls have Sky do their photo at some point.]
Soph and I share the director's seat.
I think the photo will be amazing and I cannot wait to see it and add it to my collection of photos in my office. Well...when it becomes an office. Right now it's just kind of a spot where stuff is getting stored to keep out of my way.
Geez, sounds like the guestroom in my RL house.
After her photo was finished, we just hung out for a while.
I really really need to get to work on finishing up my home. But now I really really need to go to bed.

Style & Smile!
I've mentioned cutie pai Sai Pennell several times in my blog because not only does she have incredible style and is one of my good friends and neighbors, but also because she makes some fabulous poses just perfect for fashion blogging. Her store, Imperial Elegance, is one that all fashion bloggers should be familiar with because Sai has the knack for making poses that don't make you look all crazy and twist your clothes all out of shape.
Sai usually does one or two releases a month, usually near the beginning when she also puts out a picks reward gift. I was very lucky this time because she sent me a folder full of her new poses - Style!
As you can see - perfect! My clothes aren't stretched weird and I'm not contorted at all. I did no photoshopping aside from resizing and cropping, so my body and clothes are exactly as they were in world. Do you see any crazy twists and turns? Nope!
The Style poses will be released on Friday, May 1st, along with whatever little goodie she's got for us in her picks reward board. Imperial Elegance also has couples poses [so cute!] and a wonderful free AO for women, so it's always a store that you should be sure to make a stop in and recommend to any new residents looking for a free AO. Thanks again, cutie pai Sai!!

Discovering Belle Belle BBQ
Two Belle Belle posts in a row? You betcha!!
So a few days ago when I was at the store looking for furniture for my new house, I noticed a big sign announcing another hunt. I groaned, because frankly I'm just hunted OUT and almost prefer to shop in stores that don't do them anymore. But Belle Belle actually had the upcoming hunt gift set up for show. I squealed because it was in fact exactly - EXACTLY - what I wanted for my new home in the patio area. And then I cried because this meant I'd have to come hunting. But luckily for me, the super awesome Leyla Firefly dropped the gift on me to review. I did a dance through plurk and then set it all up outside.
This fantastic BBQ area is just so so perfect for summer. The primmiest part is the actual BBQ grill, coming in at 82 prims. But I love it!! There is also a pose and some BBQ tongs so you can grill up some goodies.
I think my favorite thing is the table. You and 5 of your friends can sit down, have a cold Coke [my fave!], or eat your yumminess. If you click on the Coke bottle, you get a glass. If you click on the placemats, you get a knife and fork, and click on the BBQ sauce bottle to have your food delivered in front of you. Amazing! I am a SUCKER for prim food.
A closer shot of the food.
The Discovery Hunt starts this Friday and goes until the end of June. Why so long? Because it's massive. Like, beyond massive. But since this was the only store I really wanted to get the gift from, I'm done. :) Thanks Leyla, you're awesome!!!

Belle Belle Midnight Mania
Remember to stop by Belle Belle this week to get in on the Midnight Mania board to get the next piece in the Luna set - this great chair!
I really love it and I think it'll definitely find its place up in my new bedroom. You can also still get the awesome couples chair that I showed last week in the lucky board!

My new house!!
So as I mentioned last week, I was temporarily staying on a sky platform with a cutesy little pink house, my bubble chairs, and my bunnies while I hunted for a new home. When my good friend, and awesome builder, Noelyci Ingmann of Ingmann Design Group stepped in and said he would custom build me a house if I gave him an idea as to what I liked, I jumped at the chance! After all, this would be the first home in SL that was completely mine, and I did so want it to be very ME. I also knew that he'd be more likely to not hate me if I asked for 50 revisions. I am quite picky and since this was going to be my first custom built home, I wanted it to be perfect for me.
I knew vaguely what I wanted. I have always loved loft style homes, but I wanted it bigger than a traditional loft. I wanted it spacious, with lots of windows and light, but also with enough wall space for art work and my 50,000 photos that Skyhawke has done. I wanted defined areas for the bedroom, kitchen, and bath. I also wanted a new office, although I didn't specify that at first. It would be a skybox, but I wanted it to also be able to be beautiful enough to have down on the ground. I needed a door as well, because I knew I'd have it on a platform and eventually make my own garden or patio [or both]. So I told him all of that, and gave him a couple of pics that I kinda liked, and to his credit, he didn't ask me, "Are you nuts?"
A few days later he had me come out to his sandbox to look at what he'd done so far. I really kind of braced myself to say "Well...can you...." LOL But immediately I loved it. And I do NOT fall for houses right away. EVER. It was just so me, though! Then on Friday he let me know that it was totally ready. The girls and I hopped over, since I just had to show them.
I am SO SO happy with this house!! Except it was a lot bigger than I thought it really was. LOL I thought I could just expand my existing platform a little bit but I ended up doubling it. But oh, I just love it!!!!
A full view.
Downstairs. The counters will be the kitchen area, once I find a kitchen. LOL There are also two rooms with doors that I'll set up as my bath & office areas. Yes, that's me hanging on my Kahei cutout that Laleeta made. Don't judge! And yes, the walls are pink!
Upstairs will be my bedroom/personal living space. I know, I know. The whole thing is a personal living space. :-p But you know what I mean. Bookshelves, big comfy chairs, etc. The furniture up there currently may or may not stay. I'm not sure yet. I've just been setting things out to see what I have.
From the bedroom there are a set of stairs and a door which leads to the rooftop party deck! You all know how much I adore entertaining, and it's so so perfect for me. I think I may make it into a rooftop garden party area. Flowers, potted trees, etc.
Do you love it? I sure do. :)
If you want your own loft, guess what? It's for sale! Until May 1st, you can get it at IDG for $1000L, and then it'll go to its regular price of $1200L. It's 30x40, which I think fits on a 1024? It's 131 prims and modifiable. You don't get the counters, though. Those are just mine. :-p
Of course, now I need to furnish the place. This...yeah, I guess for a while I'll give up hunting for shoes and hair and start hunting for bathtubs and chairs. I also plan on doing a pool and patio area, and a garden so my bunnies can come back up, and and and.... LOL And THEN we'll have a massive housewarming party!
Go get your own house! I want to see how you do it!

Beloved Party Pics!
Yesterday we helped Aisuru celebrate the opening of the new mainstore location for Beloved Custom Designs, her very awesome store. It was a GREAT party with lots of people and fun! I took about a bazillion pictures, which now I will share with you and if I overload your blog readers or whatever...yeah, sorry about that. :-D
The gorgeous designer herself.
Pumpkin doing the Bone dance.
Eva & Tristan, who took over the airwaves at 3. Sorry Eva, your pants looked off to me the whole time.
Autumn & Haver. Haver brought a lunch bag with snacks!
Sehra, in a rare moment not on the floor. <3 And her partner Bone boppin' around behind her.
Oh hey, it's me!
The always cute Nikki!
Emerald, Jon, and Elizabeth trying to pretend they don't know us. LOL
The always fierce Sophia, rocking the hell out of those pink pants that I couldn't figure out what to wear with.
Laleeta, who has been wearing a very different look these days!
The cutie Katat0nik who just celebrated her one year anniversary of her store in SL.
A group shot I managed to get in. It was sometimes much more crowded than this. Look at all the amazing trees! Aisu made those!
Get yourselves over to Beloved to pick up your own fantastic fairy tale-like trees and other items. The sparkle grass and mystic grass are two of my favorite things for making any garden just so special! And also pick up some freebies, get in on the subscribo to keep updated, and try your hand at the lucky cupcake. According to Aisu, there will be custom fish in the 7 Seas fishing spot soon! :-D

Such a fun day!
It was a good day. :) I DJed for a couple of hours for Aisuru's grand opening of her new mainstore location for Beloved and it was a blast! I had a really really good time. And I got an awesome free giftie she'd put out just for the party. If you didn't get it...well, sucks to be you, I guess. LOL I'll have pictures tomorrow of the party. I have them now but it's LATE and I'm sleepy.
The new WTFug HQ is just about completed. All I need to do now is get some tutorial cards up and a few other minor things. Feel free to drop by and check it out! There IS a landing point set [grrr] but just go to the left when you land, and then take a right at Nyte n Day. We're across from the body sushi cart. I know, I know, I know. LOL
We do have some ad spaces for rent if you'd like to advertise your business or services. However, no property rentals or prefab house/buildings, please, by request of the sim owner. :) If there's a need for more ad boards, I can put a few more up. All money from the ad boards goes to the rent of our spot. :) And really, feel free to just hang out, adjust your shape, whatever. Tomorrow I'll be putting up the mailbox so you guys can drop off reader submissions and everything. Oh, I meant to put a couple of posestands in there today. Must remember when I get back.
Oh, btw, check out that fabulous logo on the front. One of our newest writers, Gauge, made that. Hot, huh? :)
I'll also be blogging my new house tomorrow now that it's been packed in a server for sale. [I was asked not to blog it until it was ready to be sold.] It's just awesome. But while I'm moving things around and throwing furniture all over the place to see what I have and what I need and what I want, the poor bunnies were getting anxious. So they moved down to the little fantasy area of the island to vacation until our home is ready.
Don't tell them, but they might be there a while. :-p
I ended the evening chatting and laughing with my adorable friends while I clung to Kahei. Ok ok, a cut out of Kahei that Laleeta made with a pose. It's hysterical! She sent this particular one out to our group, but you can pick up your own at her store. It's so freaking funny. But I kept getting scared when I'd move my camera away and then move back. It was like, "Oh my god, who's this guy in my house and how did he get past security?!" So so funny.
Ugh, I so badly need sleep! Please excuse me for not finding SLurls and URLs to everything right now. I'll try to come back in the morning and edit.

Changes are everywhere
So many changes going on lately. Good ones, but it's like I'm just going in circles most of the time flitting from this to that and not really getting all that much done. If I could just stick to one particular area and work on it all at once, it would go much more smoothly. Logically, I know this. But I flit.
The plans for the WTFug headquarters are fully underway. The space has been rented and I'm setting up things in there - slowly, but it's happening. I even have 3 people already interested in the ad boards. A few of us headed out there tonight just so people could see where we'll be.
If I can just get my butt in gear, we can start having fun in there. But the funniest part is that directly across from our location, there's a kiosk that sells "body sushi" sets. It's fitting. :-p
When I'm not thinking about that, I'm thinking about my new home. I'm not blogging it yet, but it's so amazing. It's the first house I've ever owned in SL that is absolutely and completely mine, and I want it to be furnished in my own style. But, much like in RL, I'm not exactly sure what MY furniture style is in SL. I've been collecting landmarks from friends who shop for furniture way more than I ever do, and I've hit up a few places.
One place I definitely wanted to go was Instinct, because I have that gorgeous bed from the ... Ghost hunt? I think it was the Ghost Hunt. But I thought that there must be matching furniture there for the bed. And there was. But I just couldn't force myself to pay over $400L for a single nightstand. I can buy hair with that! I mean, it was a nice nightstand. It was. But goodness. I can't pay that much when I don't even know if that's the set I really want to keep. I'll drop that much on an outfit I want, or shoes, or hair, and not think about it. But not a nightstand.
So I did what anyone with slight building skills would do. I went home and made my own.
I know, it's not awesome. But it does have a shadow underneath, so uh, way to go me on that.
I need to get in bed so I can be fresh for Aisu's grand opening party tomorrow. I'll be DJing from 1-3pm SLT, and DJ Tristan Micheline will be taking over at 3, so it should be a pretty good party. :) And then I WILL get something done. HQ, a room in the house, something. That's the goal. Goodnight!!

Goodnight!!

Dressed to impress, but left less than impressed.
So the girls and I went out to Seven last night, most of us visiting the club for the first time ever. It was... Oh, mediocre at best, I suppose. We expected good looking people dressed in great fashion, awesome music, and none of the regular SL club stuff like asking for tips and all of that. Nope. LOL Pumpkin and I got there first and she asked me, "Do you want the creepy guy in the middle by the bar who looks like he has lunch daily at strip clubs?" Um, no, not really.
There was bad fashion, there was someone wearing some worn out beat-the-horse-to-death-and-back fashion [Fonzie called, he'd like his biker jacket back], there was tip begging, and at one point, someone howled. Oh, and then this showed up.
Yep.
We did try to make the best of it, not causing trouble and just having fun dancing on my chim. It's always a blast to get together and it's fun when we can go somewhere new. [Although our group conversation did turn to graduate schools and the weather, showing exactly how engrossing the local chat conversation must have been.] And my girls looked HOT last night. They always do, though. Why guys aren't beating down their door, I have NO freakin' idea.
The icing on the cake was when one of the staff [I won't say which one] said that if you weren't invited into the club by the best, meaning one of them, then you were invited by the second best. We'd been TPing in people all night, so I'm guessing we were second best? We'd pretty much had it by that point and all of us took off at once to go be our own "elite" party elsewhere. And I'd talk about what we did later, but only the best can know. *flips hair*
Just kidding. We went to see my newly finished house and to dance around. :)
So will I ever go back to Seven? Well, if they don't ban me for this post, I might. LOL It was a nice build, although quite quite laggy. I'd put up with the lag to hang with my friends and maybe meet new people. But one of their VIP members told me that unless it's a free night, there's usually very few people there anyway, so...who knows. All I know is that I was less than impressed and they need to tell the staff to watch what they say because if you're going to tell people to TP their friends in, and then call them second best for doing it, you're not really making a good impression. But if you go, and you need to leave, just remember. The door is this way.

Thinking & asking questions
I feel like writing this morning, but for the first time in a while, I don't have an actual topic. No reviews, no parties, no pictures to share. Oh, I lied. I do have a party to announce. I'm DJing this Sunday at 1pm SLT for the grand opening of Aisuru's new mainstore location for Beloved. So make sure you come out to that, because she'll have goodies and it should be really fun.
I've had several ideas kicking around in my head the past week. See, I have so much land and while I do share my half of the island with 4 renters, there's still so much space and I can't quite figure out what to do with it. I was thinking of maybe every week hosting someone who wants some room to be creative or display artwork. But then I thought it would be more fun to be challenging and ask them to see what they could do for 100 prims. Do you think anyone would be interested in something like that?
I've also been considering a WTFug headquarters. Just a place where people can drop off notecards in world, come by and hang out, stop over to ask, "Are my feet the right color?" Maybe even sell a few advertising spots on the walls for decent photographers & designers. This wouldn't be on the island, I kind of already have a location picked out, should I go through with it. I've just always thought that it's cute when blogs have a place in world. What do you guys think?
There's a lot I need to do in RL today, so I guess I'll stop rambling on here, although I could do it for hours. :)

Love Thursday
I really have to thank Soph for this one, because I'm in a little bit of a funk today and I couldn't think of anything. How bad is it when you can't figure out anything you love??
I love dancing. I can't remember a time in my life when I wasn't dancing in some form. I even took dance classes for a time a few years ago, although I stopped for some reason and I don't know why.
In SL, I love to dance. I have chimeras FULL of dances, and several ones that are in my inventory loose. I love to watch my avatar move around doing dances that are fun or bouncy or sexy or just nuts. It's not uncommon for my friends and I to just bust out a dance anywhere, from our homes to in front of lucky chairs. Some of my best conversations have happened while we just dance somewhere. It's not about the dance. It's more about just being together while we chat. The dance just gives it something else. We've all seen each others dances a billion times, but still, we dance.
And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music. ~Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche
I'll end with a dance that I wish someone would make in SL. A paso doble. The quality of this video isn't the best best, but I love it.

Now for the Truth!
I have been dying to blog this for WEEKS, but I wasn't allowed to, which really made me antsy. LOL
A few weeks ago, Truth Hawks hired Skyhawke Sodwind & Sophia Harlow of Sacred Studio to do some portraits for his store. I was chosen as one of the models for the big photoshoot, along with Sophia, Sai Pennell, Sehra Kauffman, Pumpkin Saenz, and Aradia Dielli. I was soooo excited!! Not just because hey, everytime I go shopping there, I get to see a big picture of myself, but because I would get to do it with some of my best friends.
Skyhawke did an absolutely AMAZING job with the photos, just as we all knew he would. I'm telling you, if you haven't had your photo done by him, you are missing out BIG TIME. He's wonderful! Out of 11 photos in my profile, 7 of them have been done by Sky. He is just that damn good.
So none of us were allowed to blog about the shoot or anything until the pics were delivered and placed in the store. This drove me crazy, as I'm sure it did the others, too. But today with his new releases, our pics are up!!!!
Outside the store - Sophia, Aradia, and Pumpkin.
Inside - Sai, Sehra, and me.
Me again, right by the ponytails. I'm wearing the "Alicia" hair in my picture. Pumpkin, Sehra, and Aradia are also wearing their namesake hairs!
It was just a really really fun experience! Does this mean I can add "Soopamoddle" to my resume now? LOL!! I'm just so happy that I had a chance to do this because it's something I'll always remember.
I'm sure all the photos will be put on the Sacred website soon, and I'm sure the girls will blog their own pictures, but I wanted to do mine here.
Be sure to stop over at Truth and check out the photos, and pick up some of his new work. And then make your appointment at Sacred for your own super fantastic picture!
