A Caffeinated Post

I apologize in advance for any subject skipping this post may have. I've been living on cookies and Diet Coke the past couple of days, so I've been kind of all over the place today.

Whenever I go out to shops in SL, there are always the women who are beautifully and elegantly dressed. Don't get me wrong, there are the ones that are toe up as well, but the beautiful ones catch my attention. Just as a personal preference, I style myself mostly after my real world self. Hoodies, jeans, t-shirts, funky colored nail polish. After years of working in offices where every day I had to wear pantyhose and uncomfortable clothing, I am all about comfort. But today I decided to see what it would be like to dress in a more classic way.

All business

It wasn't that bad. :) I felt attractive and some random guy friended me and said I was cute. [He'll probably be taken off my list soon, though. He's more than 10 years younger than I am and asked "asl" and "wot r ur hobbies?" within 2 minutes. No thank you.]

I went over to Linden Village to see if I could see a Linden. I've never actually seen one. Kind of like an Oompa Loompa.

Where's the Lindens?

I went all over the place, took the balloon ride, and nothing. Where are these sneaky buggers hiding?? I will find one, I swear I will. But I want to hunt for one, not show up at their office meetings. You know, I want to see one in the wild. ;)

I got tired of my outfit soon enough, and I figured out that really, I'm just a girl who has many different sides, but who is happy enough in t-shirts and jeans and doesn't need designer clothes to prove who she is.

Naptime

Maybe I'll take a nap. Or have another diet coke.

[And yes, that is me back at the Pillow Talk sim. I love that place!]

LOL. I love the comparison of Oompa Loompas and Lindens. If you ever saw Philip Linden, wearing his orangey noob skin, it makes even more sense
