I feel the need to blog tonight but yet I can't blog everything that's going on, or even everything that's in my head because I just can't. I've barely been in SL today, and when I do go in, I can't seem to make myself do anything. I shouldn't even be blogging this but...ugh, I don't know. lol

So since I haven't been in SL much today and out of anything better to do, I started reading my old NaNoWriMo stories. Have you all done this before? It can be a lot of fun, especially if you have a group of friends doing it too who will share ideas and word counts and such. The best part about it is that no one has to ever read the story but you, and you can be as ridiculous as you'd want to be. The goal is to write 50,000 words, or about a 175 page novel. I have never hit my goal.

Story 1: A very Twilight Zone-ish story of a future world where the beautiful people are hunted down and killed. Obviously written during a time where I was in hate with my beautiful perfect has-it-all best friend.

Story 2: A romantic story of two people coming together after 10 years and meeting at their old college where they shared their first kiss. I think I had just seen my ex-boyfriend's MySpace page and had looked at his pictures...and those of his new wife.

Story 3: This is the story of an overweight girl who left her boyfriend and moved down to stay with her Grandmother so she could figure out what happened to her family, and also find new love and lose weight and learn about life. Somewhere along the way with this story, aliens came down and then there was just craziness. I got bored, I think.

This year I think I'd like to try it again. I think all of you should too, because I know we have some unbelievable writers out there. that I've distracted myself for 10 minutes writing this blog...I guess I'll go back to watching YouTube and tweezing my eyebrows.

Okay I know I'm not a great distraction but it's good to see you blog!
I was thinking of doing the NaNoWriMo thing ever since Quaintly told me about it. I just have to get started!

*hugs you again*
Hope whatever you are dealing with turns out okay soon. I know it sounds melo dramatical but I really do hope so :)

MySpace -- a place for distraction and agony.

Sorry -- the second one struck a chord with me. I hate stumbling on exes on MySpace and seeing how in love they are.

Meanwhile at the moment people can see plenty of pics of me and my cats.
