The 500th Post!

I almost missed that my last post of the night [and I am used to posting right before bed] would be my 500th blog post.

Last month when I saw that soon I would hit upon the 500th post, I thought about what I could do to celebrate it. A list of my favorite blog posts over the past few months? Heartfelt thank yous to those who have helped me and been there from the beginning? Maybe something fresh and exciting? But the truth is, the 500th post isn't really that special in the grand scheme of things. And I know there are those of you who would disagree. You've laughed with me, played along with my challenges and memes, discussed crazy things with me, encouraged me, helped me, and told me that I've helped you. I've met people because of this blog that have inspired me in so many different ways. I've had a great time! But haven't we all done that with our blogs? I'm not any different. I just...write a lot. LOL

I didn't start this blog to become known. I don't post a lot because I am trying to prove anything. I write because I like to write and had forgotten that somewhere in my life. I keep a blog because I have been keeping diaries and journals since I was 6 years old. [Although those are pretty dull, since no one really cares what I had for dinner and that I didn't - and still do not - like lima beans.]

I am simply a girl, with a lot of free time, and a Second Life. And that's pretty good, I think. :)

But, I did want to put SOMETHING a little special here tonight. After all, it IS my 500th post. LOL So I thought I'd finally get around to resizing all the pics on my desktop that haven't managed to resize or find a place for in between all the greedy shop posts and the posts about ripped hair or whatever. :-p Only I didn't want to just slap them down here like normal, so.... I made a slideshow! :) It's not perfect, but then again, neither is this blog. LOL

I added all the pics to my Flickr too, just in case they're going by too fast and anyone actually wants to look closely at them.
